Studio History

Established in 1902, Edward Fox Photography has over 100 years of experience in creating exceptional wedding photography, corporate photography, and studio portraiture. Edward Fox’s family is still involved in the ownership and management of the studio, making it the second-oldest family-owned photography studio in the United States. From the original location in Chicago, Edward Fox now has locations throughout Chicago and its suburbs as well as in the Detroit, Milwaukee, Houston, and the Alexandria/Pineville, Louisiana areas. The studio is looking to expand to other areas in the near future.

The studio offers the best of both worlds: A contemporary look in its photography, products, and services with the stability of a well-established business that will be around for many years.

The pride of an immigrant establishing his own business over a century ago is instilled in those working at the studio today. For that reason, Edward Fox operates its own professional photofinishing lab using only top quality equipment, professional paper and chemicals and supplies. There are many less expensive products available; however, the studio will not compromise quality by using them.
